"I am a visual artist, poet and author. My true forte is portrait painting, with an accompanying poem expressing the vitality felt in the art piece. While living in Southeast Asia for nine years, I recognized my ability to spontaneously paint portraits and write poetry. Today, I continue this practice in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

When not making my own art, I bring together young children and senior citizens, allowing both to create a painting of their choice and write about it. I work with young children because they are open to the wonders of the Universe and their vivid imaginations also stimulate my own. Senior citizens, a demographic to which I belong, have lived through many challenges. Moving towards the end of life’s journey, we are open to seeking answers to the most profound questions about who we are and why we are here.

It is this alignment of different generations, cultures and perspectives, which permits me to demonstrate how Trust, Love and Respect (my mantra) can create mind-blowing art!

In this safe milieu, I provide opportunities to address seniors’ feelings of isolation and the chance for children to respect their elders.

My calling is to Be Authentically Me, rising out of the fragrance of Love. Wherever and whenever I can, I seek through my creations, to put people at ease, allowing their true essence to be released in my artwork."
